“Festival of light” that enlightens the hearts and brings joy to every heart, one of the biggest and most auspicious festival in India “Diwali” has a huge significance and to mark its glory, St. Vincent Pallotti College organized “DIWALI CELEBRATION” on Thursday, 24th October 2019 with great excitement. On this occasion the college conducted raft of competitions like Rangoli, Puja Thali decoration and Sweet making and all these competitions added the perfect setting to the festivity.

In this celebration Director Rev Father Shanti Prakash Panna, Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Asst Administrator Rev Father Julius Xess, Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri, HOD’s of various departments, all teachers and students of the college light the holy lamp and prayer was conducted and all participated with loaded excitement. It was a fun-filled day and ethnic day was declared to add more to the festive mood. The event marks the celebration of togetherness, love and sharing. The college had the ambience of joy and happiness. Such events help students to remain in touch with their Indian culture.

  • Sweet Making Competition encourages the students to prepare home-made sweets without sugar and preservative as they are healthy & better than adultered sweets of the market.

Main attractions were:

  • Rangoli prepared with materials such as colored rice, colored sand, dry flour and flower petals, different shades and designs made the floor outshines.
  • The mouthwatering dishes like Gulab jamun, Rasmalai, Cake, Chocolate Brownie, custard pudding etc.
  • Decorated thali in which entire puja material are accumulated and decorated in a creative way.
